Support to faculty and their programs is a combination of proactive and reactive activities stimulated by the interest of both faculty and staff of the LLC to facilitate teaching and learning through technology. This has involved r/d, engineering of specialized equipment or features for integration into standard facilities.
New information involving software or hardware for evaluation and possible implementation is distributed to faculty. Workshops are held on a regular basis for new instructors. Faculty is made aware of organized seminar/workshops being offered outside the university and arrangements are often made by the LLC for them to attend special presentations.
In other instances, conferences and workshops are
organized to be held at the university for interested faculty, staff
and for the benefit of the educational community who wish to attend.
