The Dean, Faculty of Humanities officially approved the formation of the L.L.C. Resource Centre at Brock University in 1987, to assist in any way possible the educational community at large.
The financial guidelines were that it must operate on a cost recovery basis and when convenient to all parties concerned. Remaining parametres were left to the discretion of the departmental manager.
The educational community has responded to this service by requests ranging from assistance in planning and consulting to supervision and support in installations.
Assistance has been provided by the Brock University Language Learning
Centre to manufacturers in North America and abroad, to various level
of government, and to post-secondary educational institutions from the
east to the west coast of Canada.
