Rick's Biking Family Photo Album

Although I didn't actually begin to ride until my mid-30s, motorcycles have figured into my family for several generations. Here are some pictures going back to the 1920s.

Here's my father with his 1947 Harley. Bought brand new that year and driven all winter with chains.

This is my father on his 1975 Bulltaco Pursang. He used to race motocross but dressed appropriately.

Here is a better picture of the '75 Pursang.

Here he is riding another Bulltaco.

Water makes no difference with those machines.

Temperature doesn't seem to mean much either.

Here's my grandfather in the 1920s. We don't know exactly what the bike is. Let me know if you do.

Grandpa is on the right, a buddy on the left. Family all around.

Here's Granpa on Dad's 1947 Harley.

For the sake of completeness, here's a shot of me on my 1980 Yamaha XS1100 Special.
