How to view Prof. Mulligan's Web Pages in Full-Screen Mode

Many web pages on this site are designed to be viewed in full-screen mode.

NOTE: Your display should be set for a size of 800 by 600 pixels or greater. (Don't worry, most are.) If you find the web pages are wider than your screen, try going into Windows' Control Panel, under "Display" and checking whether your display size is set to 800 x 600 or greater.

Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox (recent versions):

  1. Click "View", then "Text Size". Make sure text size is set to "Medium".

  2. Press F11 to switch back and forth between full-screen and a framed view.

  3. In full-screen mode, a command bar may remain at the top of your screen. Right click on this command bar and select "Auto Hide". The command bar will disappear. The command bar reappears whenever you move your mouse cursor to the top edge of the screen.

  4. In full-screen mode you can easily move backward and forward through web pages by pressing alt-left-arrow or alt-right-arrow.

Netscape: Older versions of the Netscape web browser do not have a 100% full-screen capability, but you can increase the size of the screen by clicking "View" and then clicking the options to hide toolbars. Alt-left-arrow and alt-right-arrow also work in recent Netscape web browsers
