INCORRECT Joseph Stalin (1879-1953) was a Russian revolutionary leader and brutally repressive premier of the Communist USSR from 1941-1953. Early in his career Stalin was the editor of the Communist newspaper Pravda; however, he did not write The Communist Manifesto.
