Let's meet our guides, Mathise Phun and Geo Metry
I'm Mathise. I'm always trying to
find how things work. I Like sports.
I'm Geo. I like sports too (and I sort of like
Mathise). I work out a lot to keep my body in shape. This is my dog
Trig.
They call me Trig because of my
angular face! Geo dosen't know this but I have fleas(scientific name:
statis tics). They come in all different sizes. These fleas don't
bite, they tickle.
Mathise, remember the geography
class when we looked at the importance of lakes and rivers in the
development of Canada? Canals have been used to join various water ways.
The Welland Canal is the most famous. In no other country do oceangoing
ships travel up such a steep slope. It's a technological wonder!
