The seven tools for new product planning (Seven Product Planning Tools) have been announced (Kanda, 1995) and will be taught to the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers during the Fall of 1995. They are:

Concept Checklist
Table-type Conceptualizing
Conjoint Analysis
Quality Chart
A book, in Japanese, is expected in November 1995.
