• Each discipline is a language unto itself
• There is a core language which is nondisciplinary
• Mathematics is a language in which you can both
  • State a problem
  • Solve the stated problem
• Mathematics is a core language
• The same math may mean different things in different disciplines
• If things have the same math they are analogous
• Analogous thought transforms concepts between disciplines
• Analogous concepts have the same behavior expressed differently
• The concept of object is language independent
