- Each discipline is a language unto itself

- Mathematics is a language in which you can both
- State a problem
- Solve the stated problem
- Mathematics is a core language
- The same math may mean different things in different disciplines
- If things have the same math they are analogous
- Analogous thought transforms concepts between disciplines
- Analogous concepts have the same behavior expressed differently
- The concept of object is language independent
