The Scenography Working Group IFTR/FIRT



	Designing the Performance Spaces 22 to 26 June, 2011, Prague CZ This international conference coincides with the Prague Quadrennial 2011, and is prepared by the Arts and Theatre Institute Prague and the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, in association with the Scenography Working Group of the International Federation for Theatre Research. Brought together under the umbrella of global scenographic practice for theatrical, visual, events and exhibition design, this conference invites theatre professionals and scholars to dialogue on historical and contemporary trends concerned with the creation of meaning through visual, spatial, and aural design of performance and presentational spaces. IFTR has launched a new updated web site. Part of that site will allow for IFTR Working Group Message Boards. The Message Board provides access for only those members signed up for a particular working group by its convenor. The working group members can use the Message Board as the primary medium for discussing topics of interest in that group. You must be an IFTR member to participate in a working group, and you may be a member of only one working group. Please contact the working group convenor to join its Message Board.
